If you are a bold person who likes to take risks when decorating, consider painting all the walls in a room black.
This all black room will be very dramatic, but you should decorate it in a way that it does not feel like a cave.

The color black will seem to absorb all of the light, so you will need more light than if you had a room with lighter colored walls.

If all black walls scares you, consider painting just a feature wall, then decide whether to finish painting the rest of the room later.
