If you can't get lights for your Christmas tree, or you just want more sparkle, you can use light reflectors to make your Christmas tree appear lit.
There obviously has to be some light somewhere near the Christmas tree for the reflectors to have light to reflect.
Here are the step by step directions for how to make light reflectors for your Christmas tree.
You will need:
-Small identically shaped mirrors (twice as many as the number of reflectors you want)
-Metal ornament hangers
-Low heat hot glue gun with glue sticks
Assemble
To make your light reflectors, first heat up your hot glue gun and load it with glue sticks.
Once the glue gun has warmed up, turn one of your mirrors upside down.
Make sure you have an ornament hanger and another mirror out of the package and ready to be assembled quickly.
Next, add a generous amount of hot glue to the back of your mirror.
Before the glue has a chance to set up, push an ornament hanger into the glue and put the other mirror on top (face up). Ensure that the mirrors are perfectly aligned.
Allow the light reflector a few seconds to cool, then move it out of the way and repeat the process.
If you have hot glue strands hanging from the light reflector, simply pull them off with your hands once the glue has dried.
Where to Use
You can use your light reflectors on a Christmas tree, but you can also use them on a Christmas wreath, hanging from a chandelier, or wherever else you want to add sparkle to your home.
