Keep the bottle of foaming hand soap that is empty.

The bottle pump mechanism is what makes the soap foam.

If you don't have a foaming hand soap bottle, purchase one at the store.

If you wish, you can change the base of the bottle for a more decorative one, but make sure it is the same size to screw the pump on to.

Soap, Water, and Essential Oil
Purchase a liquid hand soap of your choice.

You can select an anti bacterial hand soap or one in a certain fragrance that you like.

Dish washing liquid also works.

Fill approximately 1/4 of the foaming hand soap bottle with the liquid soap and fill the rest of the bottle up 3/4 full with warm water.

If you use an unscented hand soap, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to make the foaming hand soap personalized to your preferences (essential oil is optional).

Pour the water into the foaming hand soap bottle slowly since it will likely create bubbles.

Swirl
Swirl the foaming hand soap around to mix the ingredients together.

You can also shake the container, however it will likely create a lot of bubbles.

Tip
If your soap feels too slippery, use less soap next time and more water.

If your soap is not slippery enough, use more soap next time and less water.
