Flowering plants make a house or office feel more welcoming & can remove pollutants from the air, but you can't grow every blooming plant indoors.
Most flowering plants need more light than is in your home or office in order to grow, flower, & thrive.

Orchid
Orchids have tall flowering stems in with flowers in most every color.
When they are not in bloom, consider adding a very high quality orchid flower to the pot.

Poinsettia
Poinsettias are very popular plants usually seen only around Christmas.
If you take care of your Christmas poinsettias, they will be great house plants throughout the year.
Poinsettias not only come in classic red, but also pink and white.
Beware that poinsettias are poisonous to people and pets if ingested.

African Violet
African Violets are easy to grow houseplants that might bloom all year long.
They come in deep purple, lavender, blue, pink, and white flowering colors.
Special care has to be taken with them to ensure proper African Violet soil is used and that their leaves do not get wet.

Peace Lily
Peace Lilies have waxy green leaves that don't like direct light.
Peace Lilies don't have a traditional flower, but a spadix and spathe that is white.
They will bloom nearly continually under the right light conditions.
Trim the spathe once it turns green and move farther from light source if leaves turn yellow for optimal results.
If leaves start to droop, its time to water your house plants.

Amaryllis
Amaryllis is a flower grown from a bulb that is a very popular houseplant around Easter time.
It has a tall lily like flower and tall leaves.
The flowers come in white, red, and orange colors.
They are often one of the first blooming flowers in the garden.
