Many people prefer a few of their kitchen cabinet doors to have glass fronts to break up the monotony of all wood front cabinet doors.
Glass front cabinet doors are beautiful, however you have to be careful that the items inside are always arranged beautifully and they must be constantly cleaned of fingerprints.
Here are a few different alternatives for glass front kitchen cabinet doors that are not so revealing.

Frosted glass cabinet doors are beautiful, however they leave a little to the imagination.
You can light the inside of the cabinet for ambient lighting in your kitchen, revealing the shape of the items inside without revealing everything.
You probably don't want to use frosted glass if you plan on storing colorful plastic cups or medicine in those cabinets.
Sheet Metal
For a little bit of a modern and industrial touch, consider using metal on a few of your kitchen cabinet doors.
You can use new sheet metal in the color of your choice, distressed metal, rusted metal, corrugated metal, diamond plate, or whatever you find attractive.
Sheet metal will give your kitchen more of a commercial kitchen look.
Perforated Metal
Perforated metal comes in both contemporary and traditional patterns that would work well in many homes.
You can even add perforated metal to basic glass cabinet doors to have a bit of a more unique look.
Your local home improvement store should sell several options if you want to DIY your cabinets.
Punched Tin
If you prefer a more relaxed country style, consider using punched tin in a pattern reminiscent of pie safes from years ago.
Diamond, circle, star, and nature scenes are popular.
Chalkboard
If you find yourself always making lists or notes, consider replacing a few of your kitchen cabinet doors with chalkboard doors.
Make sure that you are willing to clean up the chalk dust that will accumulate.
Wood Cut Outs
If you have wood cabinet doors, consider doing some intricate cut outs to add interest.
The cutout will not only add visual interest, but also allow air flow.
You can do a small cut out at the very top of a few cabinet doors in the pattern of your choosing.
Wired Glass
Wired glass is a great kitchen cabinet door option for homes in a cottage or country style.
This type of glass has a vintage or anique feel to it.
Fabric
In keeping with the cottage and country style, you can use fabric curtains instead of wood cabinet doors.
This style is especially popular for cabinet doors under a sink, but also cabinet doors in a kitchen island.
Glass Frame
You can use two panes of clear glass with an item of your choice sandwiched between them - such as art, pressed leaves, post cards, wallpaper, love letters, fabric, photographs, or whatever you can dream of.
Consider making the back pane of glass easily removable, like a picture frame, so you can change out the inside as you desire.
Different Glass Types
If you still want glass kitchen cabinet doors, consider using colored glass, bubble glass, leaded glass, water glass, ribbed glass, or antique glass instead of plain clear glass.
