How to Decorate for Christmas Without Using Red and Green

Why not try something new this year and decorate for Christmas without using red and green (excluding the traditional green Christmas tree)?

Red and green are very traditional Christmas colors, but can be very predictable.

If you want more modern and updated Christmas decor, consider using these alternate Christmas colors.

You can decorate for Christmas in Winter Wonderland colors (not red and green).

Consider using silver and icy blue decorations.

You can accent with crystal and glass.

Girlie
You can have girlie Christmas decorations that are not red and green.

Consider starting with a pink Christmas tree

You can use other girlie items such as rhinestones, pearls, feathers, and glitter.

All White
All white Christmas decorations can be very glamorous and not as predictable as red and green.

You can have a white flocked Christmas tree with all white ornaments.

You can even add in some metallic colors if you wish.

Bold and Bright
Instead of using traditional red and green, why not use bold and bright versions mixed with other bold and bright colors?

Christmas decorations in brilliant colors are much more exciting and fun.

Metallics
You can decorate for Christmas using all metallic colors.

You can mix silver, gold, bronze, and copper (or any combination of metallics that you like).  Metallics have a glamorous feel.

Black and White
Black and white Christmas decorations may sound depressing, but they can be quite exquisite if done correctly.

You can use black ornaments on a white tree or white ornaments on a black tree.

Add in some silver metallic, glass, and crystal for added luxury.

Black and Gold
Another fun way to decorate for Christmas is to use the colors black and gold.

This may be especially appropriate for certain sports fans.

Your Current Color Scheme
Why not decorate for Christmas using the current color scheme in your home?

You can keep your existing home decor but add a few extras for Christmas cheer.
